What is my mission?

A productive, efficient and harmonious cooperation between employees from ROMANIA and employees from other locations from all over the world – THAT IS MY MISSION!

When uncertainties persist in a multicultural team, misunderstandings arise (too) often and it stucks frequently in the communication between employees, I help managers and their employees on the way to efficient and harmonious cooperation, so that they can save unnecessary stress, money and time.

My mission is fulfilled when my clients can successfully apply what they have learned in the intercultural training or coaching on their daily work. The participants in my training/coaching reflect on their perspective, and then develop strategies for action, which leads to a sustainable improvement in intercultural communication and cooperation.

Who am I? What makes me different?

I’am your expert when it comes to the specifics of ROMANIAN culture and business!

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, where I lived and studied until the age of 23. That’s why I know Romanian culture from inside. After my undergraduate study periods in Bucharest (Romania), Lyon (France) and Potsdam (Germany) I started my PhD at the University of Potsdam (Germany). All in all I have lived in Romania for about 25 years, in Spain for 3 years and I’ve been living  in Germany for about 15 years by now.

In addition to my academic work at the University of Potsdam (Germany), I have been working as intercultural trainer and coach with focus on Romania and Germany since 2006.

Meanwhile I have done hundreds of trainings and coachings with focus on Romania, Eastern Europe, Germany and Austria.

My target groups are managers of all levels including executives, international teams, expatriates and impatriates. I have coached top managers from Germany, Austria, France, UK, USA, Venezuela, Brazil, Turkey, Lebanon, China, India etc. regarding the topic Living & Working in Romania (building trust in the international team, giving feedback correctly without offending, resolving conflicts in a culturally appropriate way, developing strategies so that deadlines are always respected etc.).

In the last few years I have been focusing on the topic of cooperation in virtual intercultural teams.

I offer my trainings and coaching in English, German, Romanian and I also speak Spanish and French.

In my trainings, coachings and consultations I value openness, discretion, respectful interaction and a pleasant atmosphere. Furthermore, it is a must for me to teach the contents in an interactive and practice-oriented way.
